Salad Dressing

1 tablespoon Maple Pepper® Brand Seasoning

2 tablespoons warm water

1/3 cup wine vinegar

2/3 cup olive oil

1 teaspoon oregano or Italian seasoning

Directions:

Measure ingredients and place in a cruet or similar container. Shake thoroughly. Allow dressing to sit for one hour and enjoy it on your favorite garden salad. It also makes a tasty marinade for meats, poultry and vegetables. (Makes one batch.)

Barbeque/Basting Sauce

1 batch of Salad Dressing

1 cup ketchup

Directions:

Use Salad Dressing made with Maple Pepper® Brand Seasoning with Garlic and mix with ketchup to have yourself an excellent barbeque/basting sauce for meats and poultry.

Maple Corn

Looking ahead to summer and fresh corn on the cob? Tantalize your taste buds with a few (or several if you wish!) hearty shakes of your favorite Maple Pepper® Brand Seasoning on your warm, buttered ear of corn. Pure heaven!

Ward's Home Fries

Straight from the kitchen of Robert and Claudette of West Warwick, Rhode Island.

2 potatoes

1/4 cup chopped onion

1 tablespoon paprika

1 tablespoon of Maple Pepper® Brand Seasoning with Garlic

3 tablespoons of margarine

Directions:

Boil whole potatoes, with skins on, for 18 minutes. Rinse in cold water. Cut potatoes into small cubes. Heat frying pan and add margarine. Add potatoes to melted butter in pan and stir well. Add spices, then chopped onions. Using spatula to turn potatoes, cook for approximately 20 minutes until the potatoes are nice and brown. Enjoy!

Heavenly Mashed Potatoes

Directions:

Boil your favorite potatoes. Drain off excess water and mash (Faith prefers them lumpy) together with enough milk and butter to your liking. Season generously with your favorite Maple Pepper® Brand Seasoning.

Ted's Famous Maple Pepper® Brand Seasoning with Habanero Stew

Guaranteed to warm you up no matter how cold the weather is. Thank you Ted of Norwood, Massachusetts.

2 pounds of stew meat

5 pounds of potatoes

1 large turnip

1 large onion

2 cloves of garlic

1 bag of peeled carrots

1 bag of celery

1 bag of frozen corn

1 cup of red wine

2 cans of beef broth

2 tablespoons of Maple Pepper® Brand Seasoning with Habanero

Directions:

In large pot, add olive oil and brown all stew meat. Add 2 cans of beef broth, along with 4 to 6 cups of water (add more if needed) while simmering.

Dice turnip, carrots, and celery into bite sized pieces. Chop onion and garlic. Add all ingredients together. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 2 to 3 hours, depending on desired tenderness.

Roast Beef and Gravy

 Thank you Meredith of Alna, Maine.

Roll a roast in Maple Pepper® Brand Seasoning (original) and cook as you normally would. When done, remove the roast to rest before slicing and prepare gravy as you usually do, using the pan juices flavored with Maple Pepper® Brand Seasoning. 

You will not need any other seasoning for this wonderful gravy.

Sauteed Green Beans

From Rebecca in California.

1 bag of green beans

1 clove of crushed garlic

1/2 cup of dried cranberries

1/4 cup of pine nuts

Directions:

Sautee green beans with a tablespoon of Maple Pepper® Brand Seasoning with Garlic, butter and crushed garlic. Once beans have softened a little, add dried cranberries & pine nuts for another 5 minutes. Serve immediately!

Salmon with Pizazz!

From Susan in New Jersey.

Rinse and pat dry salmon fillets.  Spray a little Pam or drizzle a little oil (olive, grapeseed, etc.) on fillet and sprinkle generously with Maple Pepper® Brand Seasoning.  Bake, broil or grill as you prefer!

Cut the veggies, put them in a big bag and mix with a little olive oil. Remove the veggies from the bag, placing them on a baking sheet. Generously sprinkle Maple Pepper® Brand Seasoning over them. Roast for about 30 minutes (depending on how large the pieces are) at 350 or 400 degrees. Broil at the very end for a nice crunch.

Maple Pepper® Seasoned Scallops

Clean scallops, spray with a little olive oil and roll in bread crumbs and Maple Pepper® Brand Seasoning. Sear for a few minutes each side and you are done. Goes well with Rebecca's Green Beans.

Tinfoil Salmon

Put salmon on tinfoil and make a little boat like lip around the edge, sprinkle with olive oil and Maple Pepper® Brand Seasoning. Place inside a preheated barbecue, and grill with the top closed. It is yummy!!!
